Out photographing the Milky Way last night. Couldn’t have been a more beautiful night, clear and temperature in the low 60’s.
Location was just south of Brownsville, Minnesota, at a scenic overlook.
Whoa, Dan! This is AMAZING!!! Shutter delay? How’d you capture the Milky Way like this?! I’m stunned!
Yea, first time I’ve tried that. I was using a new camera, Nikon Z 6, 24MP full frame camera, with a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. I used 10 second shutter delay, ISO 1600, and 20 second exposure, f/2.8. Our local camera club had an outing. There were about 6 of us out there. Fun time!
Wow! Photos full of awe and wonder and glory. Beautiful!
They turned out better than I expected. First time I’ve tried Milky Way photos.
