On the Prairie

Out walking on the Prairie north of LaCrosse, Wisconsin today. From a distance it looks kinda boring. But looking up close, many wonders appear! This is the real world, not the fear-filled world the media portrays.

“And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him.
And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep.
And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.”
And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”

Matt 8: 23

  1. Loved this album! Puts a restless heart at ease and causes a longing for home that only a country kid could appreciate.

  2. Thoroughly enjoyed this prairie through your lens! Awe-filled. God’s abundance and creative detail are amazing.

  3. Life out here in “fly-over” country is so different from that of the big hectic cities. I can’t imagine how it must be to live in a city like New York with many millions of people, all rushing here and rushing there.
The media always poke fun at the boring, flat, unexciting plains. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!
